The Kings Church Tarpots Rebuild Restore Renew

Isaiah 61

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners

Happy New Year. We pray Fathers richest blessing for this new year.

Someone sent me this greeting and I share it with you...

At the beginning of another New Year:-

May God bless you and protect you,

May He give you good health and renewed purpose and vigour.

May you know an inner peace.

May you find that for which you are seeking.

We are sharing much from Rick Warren's book- The purpose driven church. have a look www.purposedrvien.com

News from 2004

In February KCT became a satellite church of The River Church Centre, Canning Town London, working closely with Rev. Roger Grassham and their leadership team. This follows ten years of working with the former Elim Way Fellowship under the Leadership of the late Rev. John Barr and Roger. Cementing our roles in supporting each other Chris also became a trustee of the River Church Centre and Brian began working as a consultant for the limited company. Roger came shared his vision for the River Church but also encouraged us to have faith to see what God is doing in these days.

In March Steve and Willy Smith spoke again of their work with YWAM and the IMPACT world tour. A real encouragement to the church as we see how they have grown into a truly multinational role. We continue to support them financially and in prayer as they serve God in Holland and around the world.

Both Steve and Willy shared their hearts. Willy brought words of real joy at what God has done for them in the area where they are now sharing that her brother has come to the Lord and is serving in the church.

November also saw the first joint meeting with St. Georges Church New Thundersley and a landmark baptism service with folks from KCT, St. Georges and the Legacy youth work being baptised. A great day and a significant service in the spiritual life of the area.
